Jo Anne Hagen focuses her business and commercial law practice on trade law and intellectual property issues including import/export, hazardous materials transportation, trademarks, copyrights, and licensing patents. She has twenty years experience with a Fortune 500 company as Compliance Manager, Legal Services Manager and Chief Counsel of Operations.   She served as Chief Counsel of Operations at Hach Company. 

Jo Anne began her solo practice in 1999.  In 2003 David Melusky joined her as partner in Hagen & Melusky, Inc.

Jo Anne creates and develops training and resources for business compliance in many regulatory areas.   She has written many articles on business, trademarks, HOA's, employment law, outsourcing, franchising, and import/export.

Jo Anne Hagen received her law degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1994.  , after which .  In 1999 she left Hach to begin working in her solo practice. 

Jo Anne is admitted to practice in Iowa and Colorado and before the United States Court of International Trade.
